Sultan was my shining star. He was my angel. He brought light to my life.
Sultan was abandoned as a puppy. i found him and his sister asleep in a used car tyre. From the first moment isaw him i knew he was my shinig star. We nursed both dogs as best we could but Sultans little heart gave up on him and he sadly passed away leaving me empty inside. His sister still brings me joy but i will never forget my special boy.
Sultan was abandoned that injustice cuts through my heart like a knife this cant happen. We need to fight and give more puppies like Sultan a voice. They need us

Lord, when the time comes please help me be strong
My furry friend is sick; something's terribly wrong
The vet checked him over; there's nothing he can do
I'm afraid soon I'll be sending him; home to You
Please take him back home; on the wings of a dove
Into Your loving arms; up in heaven above
Take him to a meadow; where he can play and run free
Under bright sunlight; among the green grass and trees
He's been a part of my life now; for so many years
I'll miss him so much; my eyes are filling with tears
Please give me the courage; to tell him good-bye
As I know He'll watch over me; through his loving eyes
I'll never forget him; I'll see him one day
Tell him we'll meet at the Bridge; then we'll go play
I'll cherish the memories; of the time we both had
they'll put a smile on my face; then I won't feel as bad

Sultans poem to my Mum x x x x
I STOOD BY YOUR BED
I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying. You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today. Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "It's me."
You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...
in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning
and say "Good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.
Be patient, live your journey out... then come home to be with me.

I am so sorry, they really leave their paw prints in our heart these lovely dogs, I know what you feel for I have raised and lost so many of these gentle friends.
